The Internship is for anyone who has a real passion for God and the church.
It’s a year to grow in God, develop your gifts, and get stuck into what God is doing here at Emmanuel. You will be Brighton based for 3-4 days during the week, and will be expected to attend Emmanuel on Sundays. It’s a voluntary year with space to work part-time alongside it, which we strongly recommend.
The programme provides weekly online bible teaching & theology sessions, as well as 4 in-person week long training blocks in Cambridge where you meet with other interns placed in other churches across the UK and abroad. There are also various trips during the year, including a mission trip overseas. As well as this, you get the opportunity to experience ministry life at Emmanuel volunteering in whichever focus area(s) you would like.
