As men at Emmanuel, we want to love Jesus more, to be clearer on God’s call on our lives, to be more informed on the shape of Biblical Masculinity, and commissioned to live out these things in our friendships, families, jobs, and in the life of the church.

Matt Carvel
Matt is part of the leadership team at Emmanuel Church Brighton. Matt loves helping people see how the message of Jesus speaks into everyday life, and his preaching is known for being clear, relatable, and full of encouragement. He has a particular heart for families and for raising up ordinary people to step into all that God has called them to. Together with his wife and family, Matt is committed to seeing Brighton and beyond impacted by the good news of Jesus.
Ben Rowe
Ben is the lead pastor of Emmanuel Church London in Greenwich, where he and his wife Vikki love serving the church family together. Ben’s heart is to see people encounter Jesus in a real and life-changing way, and his preaching is known for being both down-to-earth and full of faith. He’s passionate about helping people live out their faith in everyday life, raising up the next generation, and seeing the good news of Jesus impact the city and beyond.
