Your student years have the potential to be some of the most significant and formative of your life. It’s a time of discovery, of influence and of adventure. Brighton is one of the UK’s liveliest and most exciting cites to live and study in. At Emmanuel, we want you to thrive during your time at University here.

Every Sunday, we gather at the Clarendon Centre for the 6 pm service. After the service we hang out together, enjoying food, local beers and live music.

A free bus service is provided if you'd like to travel by bus to the service from the Universties. After the service, the bus does a return journey back to the Universities.

BLESS Society

BLESS Society is a society on campus started by Emmanuel as an opportunity to make friends and listen to engaging talks on current issues that impact our lives. And as you'll quickly discover, with Emmanuel there's always food involved. Talks range from mental health as a student to helping the homeless, and much more. We meet at 4pm every Sunday at the Attenborough Centre just before our evening service. At 5, we catch the free bus to church together.

Student Nights

On the first Tuesday of every month, we gather together as a student community at The Clarendon Centre from 6 - 9pm. The evening includes food, a talk on relevant topics to our faith and culture, and a time to encourage one another in prayer. Join us as we get to know each other more, build deeper friendships, and stay inspired in our journey of faith.

Small groups

We believe life is a team sport – best done together. Get connected at Emmanuel by signing up to a smallgroup.

Smallgroups meet weekly in locations across the city. Choose from a variety of interesting groups and courses, all of which meet for around nine weeks over the term.
